- Construct
- The latent property an evaluation intends to measure: a capability, risk, quality, preference, or behavior. Scores and artifacts are observations of it, never the construct itself.
- Decision claim
- The decision the evidence is meant to change: deploy, gate, select, terminate, reward, or page a human.
- Validity domain
- The declared conditions and population over which an interpretation is justified. Outside it, a benchmark has made no justified claim.
